What Causes Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With Kidney Stones?
I am a female, 51, still menstruating. About a month ago, I had moderate abdominal pains on the right side lasting for about a week (worse when lying down), urine contained a small amount of blood (detected by a test). Kidney stone was determined to be the most likely cause when I was examined at the urgent care facility. I had taken flowmax and an antibiotic as prescribed and the pain subsided. I was fine for about a week but starting having the same pains again. Could there be other possible underlying causes besides the kidney stones? The onset of pain appears to be after the mid-cycle.
