What Causes Abdominal Pain And Elevated Creatinine Levels?
My father is suffering from pain in abdomen. He is also a Gr-I prostate patient. After urination of 2-3 times, the pain is reducing. He is feeling relaxed (reduced pain) only during the time of sleeping. The treating physician advised for testing of Urea & Crentenine. Now after test the Urea is 80 and crentenine is 2.3. What's the problem with my father please advise.
As enlarged prostrate will compress the urinary pathway and lead to incontinence in urination.
pain in abdomen should be ruled out by physical examination. because abdomen is vast area. as your father urea and creatinine show high value as compared to normal. it indicates decrease in kidney function.because urea and creatinine is the accurate marker to know about the kidney function.
i advise you to do urine routine and glomerular filtration rate to assess the kidney function. kindly consult a nephrologist to rule out the cause behind the increased level of urea and creatinine.
thank you hope i answered your query.
