What Causes Abdominal Pain And Constant Urge To Defecate?
Yesterday I had a severe stomach ache that had me almost crying the cramping was so bad. I do believe I have IBS, although never been diagnosed, I have been to doctors before and no results. I went to the restroom and did had a bowel movement yesterday. However, that strong urge to defecate never went away. Now my legs are tingly and have a throbbing dull pain in them. My lower back hurts around the bottom of my tail bone and I have the constant urge to use the restroom, #2 ALL THE TIME. I did go the bathroom a little bit this morning and the stool that came out was red and looked pussy if that makes sense. This has been going on for almost 2 days now.
Hi Thank you for posting your query in HCM. I had gone through your question I understand your concerns. The symptoms you display are more suggestive of inflammatory bowel diseases like ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease. If i would your treating doctor i would ask you get blood tests done to rule out presence of any infections, colonoscopy to rule out the bowel diseases. I would advise you to consult a gastroenterologist , she or he who will be able to carry out a battery of tests before arriving at a diagnosis.
Hope i have answered your question if you have further questions i will be happy to help.
