My 16 year old daughter began having abdominal pain 2 years ago. She has seen two GI doctors and had several tests, found nothing at all. She began having terrible headaches around the same time. She still has those symptoms and three weeks ago she began complaining that her knees hurt and were stiff. We went to her family doctor and he said it was probably due to PE in school and gave her a prescription of 800 MG Ibuprofen. It did not help much at all. Within the past three weeks she has developed more symptoms: all her major joints are hurting and stiff, fingers are stiff in the mornings, and she is feeling tired all the time. Two days ago she came to me with her left shoulder so stiff and aching that she couldn t move it. i started rubbing it to feel a huge knot ion it. I rubbed and rubbed and the knot went away, she could move her shoulder and the pain became almost non-existent. Since then she has complained of pain and when i go to rub...more knots that I can sometimes rub away. The doctor today said he was going to do blood work to test for RA. Do you have any suggestions?
