Hi, I understand your concern. * Flagyl has no role in low lying placenta. Your doctor might have advised it for your amebic bowel infection. Please check with your doctor for continuation of flagyl. * Her cramps/ pain might be secondary to stool/urine infection. stools & urine shools be checked to exclude any infection & treatment accordingly. * In low lying placenta , patient is advised to take comparitive rest, avoid stress/exertion, Take pills of Isoxsuprine hidrochloride ( dose to be decided by treating doctor). - Have regular pregnancy check up, * Many a times with growth of uterus, the placenta may shift to a safe position/may turn to be placenta previa . * uncontrolled cramps in placenta previa ,needs careful treatment under doctors care.
