General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. From what you describe, it sounds a lot like symptoms of lactose intolerance. The discomfort, gas, bloating, and the weight loss all point to lactose intolerance.
However, this is not enough information to pinpoint a diagnosis and I would need to know more about your medical history and complaints in order to be sure.
Avoiding all milk products for a week to see if there is any change in the way you feel, would be a good start.
I recommend you see a gastroenterologist for further investigation.
I hope this helps.
Wishing you good health.
