What Causes Abdominal And Bladder Pain Along With Spotting?
i am sexually active, taking birth control pills yet i have unprotected sex with my partner. About a week or two weeks ago ive been having an urge to urinate but yet when i do urinate its a small amount. I also tend to have some type of uncomfortable itchiness around my bladder it gets me very irritated. I started my pills two months ago and i started my new package yesterday, i havent gotten my period for the month of july although i was bleeding for two days last week and it was a very small amount most like spotting which i dont really consider my period. my period in june lasted quite two weeks and it was mostly spotting. Ive read on internet that bladder/abdominal pain occurs when there is a chance of pregnancy but is can also be an infection. Are all these symptoms based on my pill, on me having unprotected sex or what is it?
Hello . Thank you for your question. The symptoms you are describing point more towards urine infection. But however to rule out pregnancy get your urine pregnancy test done. In my opinion you should get your urine test done. Drink plenty of oral fluids. You will require some medication in case of urinary infection. Also it is advisable to use condom while having sex as it prevents sexually transmitted infections.
