What Causes A Transient Ischemic Attack When Blood Sugar Levels Are Low?

I had a stroke about 1 1/2 years ago. Had a tia a couple of weeks ago, it only lasted about 1 minute. I am a type one diabetic since 30 years old, 55 now. today I ve felt like my blood sugar is very low about 5 times, I check it and it was always in the mid 100 s. Is that a sign of a tia?
