What Causes A Sore Tongue In A Diabetic?

hi,This is regarding my mother ,she is 64,suffereing from diabetes,high bp.last dec she had a mild brain stroke/vertigo from she got recovered by ebruary.also had good health in terms of weiht,but later march owards she developed sour tongue and even sight chilly or spice brings burning sensation on tongue.we have visied dozen of doctors in delhi for her treatment but no one has been able to recognize exact cause,she had got tooth extraction to get dentutrs last year but is not able to put them on coz of tongue issue.so she is not on a semi solid diet and has lost 7-8 kgs since march. i would be realy obliged if this query is answered to give us a direction for her good health. sundeepa

Dear Sundeepa,
i think we need to evaluate her problem is a bit more expanded manner. get her Blood work up done including complete hemogram and peripheral smear. Also get a serum vit b12 levels tested. based on the report you can see a internal medicine specialist or geriatrician.
