What Causes A Small Cluster Of Bumps On The Labia Majora?

I have a small cluster for two small bumps on the labia majora. They re slightly red but are not very hard, more soft. They seem shiny . I recently started my period and have also been sweating a lot due to spending lots of time walking in outside in warm weather. I often get irritated by pads. I also have recently shaved. It s probably irrelevant but yesterday I did a lot of tugging at my underwear (pad included) because I began chafing around the folds of my thighs and my underwear was irritating it. The bumps don t really hurt unless I poke or prod at them, but now that I m aware that they are there, I m very aware at all times and have convinced myself I can feel it. Any idea what this is and how I can get rid of it?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Hello dear
Understand your concern..
It may be hygiene problem or cyst/STDs that is common in vaginal area.

Following are the other cause of lump in vagina:
1. Blocked hair follicle, skene's duct cyst
2. Blocked sweat gland
3. Fordyce cyst
4. Molluscum contagium
5. Bartholin cyst: rare

All this cyst are pain less and harmless generally.
Do not pop up , it causes infection and bleeding
But if it is very large and associated with pain, dysuria, fever, itching , redness and foul smelling vaginal discharge.
Then
You should think about STDs and would like to test for STDs and
And consult to doctor for drainage and take antibiotics.
Also maintain hygiene after sex and urination and keep the area dry.
Wash vagina with warm salted water 3-4 times a day.
Apply bacitracin/neomycin lotion.
Wear loose pure cotton inner wear
Change inner wear after work out and sweating.

Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
