What Causes A Red Patch Above The Scar After An Operation?

i had a mastectomy 10 wks ago.iv had no probs with healing just my arms a bit stiff but hats not a prob.i reached up to a cupboard last night and i noticed like a red patch above my scar.could i have hurt my vein.no pain no lumps just like a blEED under my skin can you help me asap as im going on hols tomorowTHANK YOU

Read and Reviewed your query in context to your health issues.
In the given scenario and history facts,You- seems to suffer from-indurated skin wound.But as you never had any wound infection and has only stiff arms,possibility of deep wound blood-collection -leaking after stretch of the arm concerned.Thus it seems to be unresolved wound hematoma, which showed up as bleeding under your skin.
Subclinical wound infection with unresolved hematoma of the breast wound, could be the cause of this bleed under the skin.
This is because of delayed wound healing,may be due to subclinical wound infection/ or Stithc granuloma, getting opened up, in your case.
