What Causes A Rash On The Abdomen Radiating To The Thighs?
Hi, I just had my appendix removed laparoscopic on Wednesday. Came home on Thursday I waited until Friday to take my first shower after my shower I noticed a raised sandpaper like rash on my torso So I was thinking it was a reaction to whatever the orange stuff they use to sterilize the area...But Now today Saturday I noticed it is spreading onto my thighs...I m only taking Amox-Clav 875MG one tablet twice a day. Nothing for pain. Is this reaction from the antibiotic or the sterilizing stuff? Should I not take the antibiotic any more? I could sure use all the help I can get since the surgeon never called me back. Thanks so much!

it appears to be not related to appendix. it can be drug reaction or reaction to stitches. get it checked by surgeon who operated for appendix. keep it under observation and take the advise of doctor.
