What Causes A Positive Pregnancy Test After An Abortion?
I an 18 year old girl. Last year Nov I got raped and fell pregnant. i then had an abortion on the 14 of Dec which was performed by a medical doctor. Two days afterward I bled heavily and even discharged tissue. Today i went for another pregnancy test which came out positive which surprised me. Is there a possibility that I am still pregnant.

I feel very bad about your rape. You require family and friend support. 7-10 days are required for pregnancy test to become negative after abortion. So please repeat test at 11th days after your abortion. If it will positive again it may be due to incomplete abortion. Incomplete abortion should be confirmed by USG and should be treated by surgical process like D & C or by misoprostol under observation. Meanwhile take rest, analgesic, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
