Hi ..

Thanks for contacting HCM with a medical query.

The commonest firm cystic swelling near mons and labia majora is bartholin cyst..

It might become very painful when it gets infected.

Mam if I have a similar patient in my outpatient department I would start on a broad spectrum antibiotic like amoxycillin, clavulanic acid and pain killer Ibuprofen and advice her to take sitz bath means sitting in a shallow lukewarm water bath..

But Madam you need to consult a doctor in person because you might be allergic to the medicine.

Hope this helps you.

Take care mam..
