What Causes A Painful Intercourse After Hysterectomy?
Can you please tell me reasons that would cause. Painful intercourse? I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and it never bothered me before, but I have a new partner and sex (normal) is very painful and even causes some light bleeding afterwards. What is part of therapy after hysterectomy is hormone supplement and so I would like to first make sure whether or not you have been initiated on hormone therapy. If not, then this could clearly be the cause for your difficult and discomfort during sexual intercourse.
You could also request your doctor to initiate some kind of OTC lubricant like KY jelly hat could help make penetrative sexual intercourse more pleasurable.
