Hi. I am querying about my boyfriend s sister. She has a cyst on her waistline which has gotten infected. She thought it was a boil initially hence didn t pay much attention. Now its become painful and the doctor has given her antibiotics to clear the infection before performing the biopsy. There is no discharge and the portion of it that is under the skin is hard. I was wondering if you could give some idea while we wait for the biopsy to be performed, as to whether this type of cyst can be malignant or not as we are really worried. Thanks a lot!!
