What Causes A Painful Bump On The Scalp?

Hello,I was just taking out my poneytail and I noticed that right where my hairtie is there is a small lump that hurts when i run my finger over or apply pressure. Could this be caused by wearing my hair in a poneytail even when i am sleeping because it is right where I have my hair pulled back normally.

hi. it may be sebaceous cyst. if pain then take pain killers drug. consult surgeon. remove it. thank you. regards.
