I m 43 years old and took 4 rounds of depo last year, my last shot was due in January, I decided not to get them anymore. My period still has not returned, I ve taken several pregnancy test over the last few months just to make sure and they have all come back negative. I took depo for 5 years in my 20 s and when I stopped I got pregnant 6weeks later and period returned immediately last time. Should I be concerned? Is it possible that it started me into peri menopause? Don t know how long I should wait to talk to my oh/gyn. Is this normal or signs of something concerning?
