What Causes A Lump Under The Chin On The Bone?

I have a lump on the right side under my chin on the bone. I had a CAT scan last week and they said no significant findings but I haven't been back to the doctor yet for him to look at it himself. It seems to be getting larger. What could this be?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of lump under the chin on the right side, getting larger, got the CT scan done and it dais that there is nothing more significant.
The causes of such swelling are:
May be a lymph node
- May be a developing abscess from a caries tooth or so on .
I would advise you to consult an Oral Surgeon and get a proper clinical examination so that a proper treatment can be instituted.
If required FNAC gives correct diagnosis.
