Hello, Sorry for asking such a personal question. I have a hard lump on the top right inner labia majora that was painless at first and grew in size over a span of 3 weeks and is extremely painful to pressure now. The skin over this lump is smooth. I m really worried and not sure what it is. I don t think it s a bartholin cyst because the lump is not closer to the vagina.
Hello dear Understand your concern It is difficult to say about diagnosis without the examination and investigations. Following are the cause of lump in vagina: Blocked hair follicle, Blocked sweat gland/sebaceous cyst, Fordyce cyst, Molluscum contagium, STD and Bartholin cyst (rare)
Do not pop up , it causes infection and bleeding. Apply warm application. And consult to doctor for drainage and take antibiotics. Also maintain hygiene and keep the area dry.
Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
