What Causes A Lump On Both Sides Of Breast Bone?

i have a lump on both sides of breast bone sort of under my arm. They are soft and now starting to hurt. I had blood tests done and all came out normal. What type of doctor do i see for further testing? I am very concerned as My dad has cancer of the lymph nodes..twotired35

Hi...Can understand your concern.. As per your query about lump near your arm pit and breast bone which is hard and painful.....Every lump in breast or near by cannot be said cancerous or malignant but you have a family history of cancer so you should better go for its investigation like mammography and biopsy of lump.Have a watch if there is any discharge ,change in colour,size of lump,whether it is movable or immovable etc.There can be other possibilities like sebaceous cyst,lipoma,lymph node enlargement etc.Do not worry and consult a surgeon for its proper diagnosis and treatment.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
