hello my name is andy i'm 46 year old and have found just below my left knee a very hard lump the size of a wallnut.It does not give me any pain.I found the lump a week ago after i knocked my knee against a table which then gave me pain Any ideas on what it could be
It can be a collection of blood, to confirm the diagnosis, I would suggest you to take a ultrasound examination of the knee . Till that time you can take drugs for pain relief if you feel any.
