What Causes A Lump At The Tip Of Index Finger In Left Hand?
I have a lump that was at the tip of my index finger on my left hand yesterday. It was very sore and appeared to be possibly under my nail. I couldn t actually see a lump. This afternoon, it moved about an inch and became visible. It is now located below the first joint on my finger and is about 1/4 inch in diameter and very sore to the touch.

According to history it seems to be acute subcutaneous tissue bacterial infection...
The swelling should be examined and full course of antibiotic given for that....
For inflammation relief ibuprofen drug can be given for five days....
If needed and swelling increasing in size than incision and drainage might needed for that...
Consult nearby surgeon for examination and than treatment accordingly....
