What Causes A Lump At The Roof Of The Mouth?

i have a a lump on the left side on the roof of my mouth towards the back along side the gum, seems it devolped in a couple days and is very sore and painful. i ve had allegerys all of my life. the pain is so great i haven t eaten in two days and am not sleeping. please help.

Thanks for your query.
The painful lump on the left side of the roof of your mouth can be :
Peritonsillar abscess.
Infected salivary gland cyst.
Foreign body granuloma.
Get examined by the ENT Surgeon, get blood and other investigations and be ready for a curative surgery.
You will be started on an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
