What Causes A Large Lump Behind Neck?
I have a lump on the back right side of my neck, closer to the base of my skull that comes and goes. It is never there in the morning however throughout the day I can feel it not only with my hand but at times it is large enough that I can feel it stretching the skin on the back of my neck. The lump is a little smaller than a golf ball and is hard as a rock.

I really appreciate your concern such swelling could be due to lymph node or may be due to lipoma in either case condition need to be kept under observation and in case of increase in size of clinical symptoms this need to be investigated and CT of head would be advisable, hope this information helps, take care.
