What Causes A Jabbing Sensation When Bending Down To Touch Toes?

I notice a minor jabbing sensation every once in a while around my xiphoid process when I really bend forward and touch my toes. I don t have any regular pain or problems in that area it s just when I seem to bend and basically fold myself in half I sometimes feel potential discomfort. Any ideas?
