What Causes A Itchy, burning And Plugged Sensation In Left Ear?

I have been feeling an itchy, burning and plugged sensation in my left ear for awhile. My head feels achy particularly the forehead. Today I seem to be developing a numb, tingling sensation in the left side of my face (same side as seeming ear problem) - no blurred vision etc - not dizzy. Could this all be due to ear infection? Cannot get in to see my Dr. for two weeks and don't really want to go to the ER as this is not exactly an emergency.

Your ear symptoms are suggested of acute infection most likely fungal infection (otomycosis).otoscopy is important to rule out this and if it is otomycosis it need ear toilet or suction clearance along with topical antifungal drops.
But examination is important
Keep ear dry and avoid entry of water
Thanks
