I have a triangle shaped blister on my arm that showed up about three days ago. It has clear fluid in it but as of today I noticed a white dot in the fluid. I ve been keeping it covered with a bandaid and it hasn t popped yet. Any ideas what it might be?
I can understand your concern for the fluid filled blister on the arm. It appears to be due to insect bite and then resultant blister formation after the same. I suggest my patients to apply a cream containing fucidin antibiotic or mupirocin over the affected area. Do not try to touch or pinch or pop the area as can get infected. In case if you observe that the blister is increasing then you should meet a family physician for further help. DO not try to pull or remove the skin even after bursting of the blister as can cause delayed healing All the best.
