What Causes A Dark Spot At The Base Of The Vagina?

I just basically inspected my vagina and noticed just a black thing near to the bottom of my vagina. I tried to get rid of it buy just feeling etc, but it hasn t gone. Every now and then I feel like there is something there but it doesn t bother me or cause me pain. I m 13, and haven t done ANY thing sexual with anyone. Please tell me what it is? I just had finished my period if that makes a difference? Is it just dirt? And if it s major, how should I tell my parents? Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear friend, thank you for your consultation.as you have just had your period, I think this black thing can be a piece of clotted blood.try to wash your vagina with a clean swab or cotton and see if it gets cleared.if it is still there then don't hesitate and tell your mom to take you to a gynaecologist for a clinical check-up.my best wishes for you.thank you.
