I am 39yrs old and had my tonsils & adenoids removed Dec 20, 2013 and have felt like something is stuck in the back of my throat since. My doctor has looked at it with a scope twice in the last 6 week. Plus put me on Prilosec 2 times a day for last 3 weeks. (didn t help) Now he is wanting me to try amitriptyline. I am confused why I am having this issue now and didn t before my surgery.
Your doctor must not have found any real cause for the feeling at the back of the throat that you have now; he has done further examination with scope twice and is must not be seeing anything abnormal. You must stop thinking too much about this and see if that helps.
