Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a bump near the jawline that is painless, round and hard can be due to causes like:
-Swollen lymph node.
-Fat cells overgrowth or Lipoma.
-Sebaceous cyst.
-Dermoid or Epidermoid cyst etc..

Exact cause can be ruled out once you get a clinical examination done and if needed a biopsy can also be advised..

In case if it is a swollen lymph node, many a times it is due to infection in the adjoining areas and is resolved with antibiotics and alternate warm and cool compresses..
In case if it dies not resolve, biopsy can be advised to check for malignant transformation that is a Lymphoma and in that case chemotherapy and radiotherapy or surgical excision can be the treatment option..

In cases of cysts or lipoma surgical removal is the only option for resolution..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
