What Causes A Bleeding Spot On The Scrotum?

I noticed a very tiny black spot on my scrotum a few days ago, I was vacuuming tonight and my crotch area felt wet. I opened my shorts and blood seemed to be gushing out of my scrotum. Scared me a lot. Seems to have bled a lot out of the tiny pinhole and I got it under cotrol after about 10 minutes and put a small band aid on it. I am kinda freaked out. What could it have been?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of bleeding through a spot in the scrotal skin.
This must be a vascular malformation or hemangioma of the skin of scrotum.
I would advise you the following.
Consult a General Surgeon.
Get clinical assessment done
Color Doppler study with ultrasound.
Get a stitch if small or routine surgery if the vascular malformation is large.
This will cure your problem, otherwise this can bleed again.
I find this answer helpful
