welcome to Health care magic.
1.Your question is little confused, can't get you - weather its operated or not ?
2.In this case i would have handled by - first examine the patient / followed by indicating an ultrasound scan - which will give me an exact condition weather its a solid mass / fluid collection / or diffuse swelling seen in inflammation and infection.
3.Only after that i would plan / send for a operation.
4.Have you had scan done ? if not get an appointment and get it done.
5.Hope i answered your questions.Wish you good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
