What Causes OCD Symptoms In A Dementia Patient?

My wife is constantly putting her dry clothes in the dryer because in her mind she thinks that they are wet and has to dry them, I think that she equates cold clothes with being wet, I have tried to tell her that her clothes are dry but it doesn t sink in. She does have dementia.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is not the dementia but what the history is given here could be due to maniac disorders and for that better to see the psychiatrist hope this information helps.
