What Causer Mid Abdominal Pain With Back Ache Post Food Intake?

I m having persistent mid upper abd. and LUQ pain, left sided pain and some back pain; to include pain after eating. Also intermittent heartburn. I had a cholecystectmy last October, but my symptoms persist. Could I have early symptoms of pancreatic cancer? I had unexplained pancreatitis about 20 years ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pancreatic cancer normally presents late. It can be associated with abdominal pain, back pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, bloating.

It is not normally associated with reflux.

It is more likely that your symptoms are related to your GERD and gastritis than pancreatic cancer but if you remain concerned then you should see your doctor about assessment.

I hope this helps
