What Caused Severe Abdominal Pain Just Below The Sternum?
went to the ER with severe abdominal pain just below the sternum. Fells like there's something stuck there. They ran x-ray and ultrasound and found nothing. No gall baldder or ruptures. I'm still in lot of pain as before and constantly feel like i need to use the bathroom for #2 but nothing. please help.

HI. Read the history carefully. There is a possibility of colitis and/ or enteritis.
X-ray and ultrasound may not detect such problems at all.
I would advise you to undergo upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy if medical treatment does not help you.
You may need an antibiotic and metronidazole and Ranitidine and supportive treatment to get a relief and cure.
Use antispasmodic tablets to get a relief of pain
