What Caused My Husband's Seizure Post Angioplasty?
My husband had a heart attach 2 months ago, he was treated and went back to work 4 weeks later. The following week he had a grand mal seizure.
He is 46 yrs. old in good shape, eats healthy and does not have a history of seizures.
His heart attack was treated with angioplasty stent placement (2 stents).
Could something related to the heart have cause the seizure?

1.There can be some post operative changes in few individuals.
2.The seizures can be seen in the individually due to high grade fever and nay systemic causes.
3.In this case due to intervention there might be some blood changes like small clot formation and causing occlusion of blood supply can be one of the cause.
4.Mean while it good to get examined and check the vitals and blood picture initially get treated any fever or systemic discomfort he is facing.
5.If repeats an MRI brain is ideal investigation of choice to identify the cause for seizure.
