What Caused Itchy Bumps Near My Hairline?

Hi, I woke up with a few itchy bumps near my hairline next to my eye, and one on my cheek. I did wake up a bit sweaty, too. They remind me of small mosquito bites, but I've never been bitten by a mosquito on my face. I assume its some type of rash. What could it be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain itchy bumps near the hairline and next to eye and over the cheek..
It is commonly seen due to causes like Hair follicle infection or Folliculitis.
It can also be due to clogged pores or ducts of oil glands..
It can also be due to Contact Dermatitis or Allergic Reaction..

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination and investigations like microscopic examination of scraping from the bumps can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to apply a combination of antibiotic and steroid ointment..
Take anti allergics like benadryl or levocetrizine to relieve itching..
Do cool compresses over it..
Wash the scalp every alternate day with a mild shampoo..
