What Cause The Frequent Chest Pain?

my husband has emphyzema and has had a couple of incidents in the past couple years of chest pain, however, his EKG s did not show he was having a heart attack. The most recent of these ER visits did make the Dr. question the results so she suggested he have his pulmonologist schedule a drug induced stress test. The results of that show he has had one or more heart attacks causing damage resulting in 40% of heart function. He will be seeing a Cardiologist in a couple of weeks, what can we expect as a result to this visit.

Hello
Most likely the cardiologist will want to perform cardiac catheterization to see what blockage or partial blockage there may be to his coronary arteries and he may well either need stenting of the arteries or a coronary artery bypass surgical procedure
