Doctor, Since 3 days i have been having a strange sensation inside my neck, like a needle is pricking whenever i swallow food, water or even my saliva. It is growing each day. It started with a cough and suddenly one morning i woke up to a a bee sting sensation inside my neck. It is very irritating, though it is not paining much but i am scared. Please tell me what is the problem doctor. I am very scared.my mother asked me to put my thumb inside my neck and press it upwards forcefully. She has asked me to repeat it for about a week. She consoles me by saying that is nothing but a general neck problem that occurs in monsoon season. I don t know what to do. I don t even know what is it. Please tell doc..us it something serious!???
