What Cause Of Pain In Pelvic Area ?

I am a 29 year old female. During intercourse a week and a half ago, it was somewhat painful, the pain was above my pubic bone to the right a little. A week later and the pain is still here, only when I move a certain way. It also sometimes feels like it has moved to my side and to my lower back and sometimes even in my hip. I do not really even consider this a pain, more of an uncomfortable sensation. I have regular periods, but they tend to be heavy and painful. I have no other symptoms. No nausea , fever, bloating , constipation , fatigue, not anything. I have 3 children. I started birth control pills ( Ortho Tricyclen Lo) about a month ago, and I just started my period yesterday. I can say that this period (after taking my BC Pills for a month) has been a breeze. Hardly any premenstrual symptoms or cramping. Other than the pain, I feel great! Just curious as to what this nagging annoyance could be.

OBGYN 's  Response
hello
welcome to health care magic.
you should get yourself examined by a gynaecologist . it could be some pelvic infection. you should get it examined. also get a ultrasound done of the pelvis. do not worry, even if it is an infection it will get cured with medicines but please do not start any medication without getting a proper gynaecological check up.
