What Cause Breathing Trouble, Terrible Cough And Mucus Buildup After A Trauma?

Hello! To keep it relatively short, I had a severe trauma to my face in 1987; a baseball between the eyes, breaking my orbital areas, my nose and sinus areas. I had 4 surgeries, 3 mainly to cleanup. The most recent was 2 yrs. ago to cleanup any mucus buildup due to Chronic Sinusitis. I have anosmia and no turbinates. I suffer daily as I have trouble breathing. I cough constantly. My doc says the buildup is in upper chest area, not my lungs-they are clear? How can this be and how oh how can I get rid of this SOB and cough? Thanks in advance,

it is good that lung field are clear. the obstruction is due to old injury in orbit sinus and turbinate. now also if there is obstruction then it is to be cleared by surgery.
