Hence you need the following: Test of blood for CBC, bleeding and clotting time, Prothrombine time, serum calcium, liver functions and as needed on clinical evaluation. Tests of urine and stool are also very important. Per-rectal examination and colonoscopy should be done. Urologist will certainly be of help to see for further investigations like cystourethroscopy to get the cause. Bladder cancer that cause bleeding in urine and stool also can be seen on contrast enhanced CT scan .
