What Care Should Be Taken After Nose Cauterization?
My son just had his nose cauterized. We forgot to take the paper with us for the aftercare products. I called and the office is now closed. The Dr. told us to use a nasal spray then after a little while use a onimnet/cream. Any suggestions of what these items are called? Can I get them at a pharmacy?

Thank you for the post on HCM.
I have gone through your sons history. These are some of the thing followed after nose cauterization.
1.Rest as much as possible
2.Avoid hot drinks and food
3.Avoid spicy food and anything likely to make you sneeze
4.If you need to sneeze, do it with mouth open
5.Do not pick, rub or blow the nose as
6. To prevent the nose from becoming crusty and itchy, it is advisable to use
Vaseline inside the nose for a week or two.
