What Can I Do To Correct Stretched Out Pallet Tissue?

I had surgery last Friday, the tube they shoved down my throat caused damage to the soft pallet tissue hanging down in the back of mouth, it feels like the stretched it out and it is hitting my tongue. what can I do to fix the problem, I cannot barely eat because it burns to bad.

Dear don't worry due to surgery or trauma it may became edematous and uvula appears as stretched out so it will subside its own. Use hot water gargle, avoid excessive talking, try to sleep supine position. Still symptoms persisten you need to consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
