What Can Cause Severe Joint Pain?

The only known auto immune disease I have is vitiligo. But the past few days (4) I have had severe joint pain and feeling as though I am weak. It has never lasted so many days and been so intense for this long of a period of time. I am just wondering if it is related to my auto immune disease and what tests I should ask for from my doctor.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Joint pains in young can be due to autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, gout, inflammatory diseases like SLE, bursitis, fibromyalgia, etc.
To pinpoint the diagnosis, complete physical examination and investigations like complete blood counts, ESR, RA factor, CRP, serum uric acid, serum creatinine, X-ray and MRI joints from a rheumatologist are needed.
You need to consult a rheumatologist for proper treatment.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
