What Can Cause Frequent Urination Feeling Along With Release Of Odorless Gas?

A couple of hours after lying down, I start needing to urinate almost every hour. Each urination episode is accompanied by a release of lot of odorless gas but only 6 - 8 oz of urine. The tip of the tailbone area has a dull pain throughout this time. This hourly discomfort lasts for almost five - six hours after which there is very small amount of gas accompanying urination. The gas expulsion is not from the urinary or vaginal openings, it is being expelled from the anal area. I am regular in my BMs, not constipated. I don t drink caffeinated drinks, sodas, alcohol. I consume very little sugar but am on Armour Thyroid and on low dose of Lozartan (not hctz). Can you please help me determine cause of this gas pressure?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, after lying down you get the urge to urinate, may be due to the hypertension, and the pain and gas feeling may be due to the bowel infection, probably the amoebiasis.
There also may be an infection of the urinary tract.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, ornidazole, dicyclomine hydrochloride, ranitidine, and domperidone.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
