What Can Cause Dizziness During Sleep?

my 11 year old son has had a couple of times when he lays down for bed and closes his eyes he says he feels dizzy. and can t go to sleep. any suggestions as to what would cause him to do this? He does seem to be pron to getting dizzy say on a fair ride etc. when he was really little he threw up after riding rides, but seemed to out grown that.

A child who complains of dizziness only on laying down, do not have the same symptom while on other occasions, must surely be obsessing with it. Feeling nauseated during carriage ride or motor ride is quite common and may not have anything to do with the present complaint. Your son will outgrow this complaint too. Motivate him to do so. You may consult a psychologist for counseling as an alternative measure.
