What Can Cause Blood In Stool?

I have had blood in my stool off and on for about a week now. I am on week 5 of a weightlifting program and have been taking whey protein and creatine. I stopped the creatine on Wednesday, thinking that was the cause, but today there was more blood. What are the most common causes of blood in stool?

HI
Well come to HCM
Your query and concern appreciated, let me inform you that melena stool (Blood in stool) may not be alone due to weight lifting but if is the condition of some lesion in GI tract like ulcer, anal fissure, hemorrhoid, infection then it is better to avoid weight lifting, these condition it self can cause the melena, and if it is the weight lifting then the condition would be more intense, hope this information helps.
