Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pap test is done to detect any malignant change in the lining of the cervix.
An abnormal pap test is followed by repeat Pap test after some days.
If the results still remain abnormal, cervical biopsy needs to be done.
If there is malignant change, appropriate treatment needs to be done.
The other complaints of vitamin B 12 deficiency, streptococcal infection and insertion of nuva ring are not associated with abnormal pap test.

Thanks and take care
Dr Shailja P Wahal
